The North Willamette Valley Region is where the majority of the state’s wine grapes are grown. Within 50 miles of the Willamette Valley are the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Cascade Mountain Range to the east. The entire Willamette Valley runs from the Columbia River, which divides Oregon and Washington, to Eugene. It spans approximately 100 miles down the I-5 corridor. It stretches about 60 miles wide at its widest point.
